Idle Bowling Club
ABOUT US
Idle Bowling Club was founded in 1913, centenary in 2013.
The Bowling club play in the following :
The Airedale & Wharfedale Association in the Tuesday Vets & Tuesday Pairs, Wednesday Singles & Wednesday pairs and Saturday leagues.
Bradford League Association in the Monday Evening and Thursday Vets Leagues
The Green is open for social bowling, useful for beginners, on Monday mornings, Thursday mornings and Friday Afternoons
The club play nine in-house merit competitions throughout the year where every member is given a handicap. Pairs competitions are seeded.
At the end of the season a presentation evening is held in Idle Working Mens Club to present trophies.
The club have a Safeguarding Policy that covers children and vulnerable adults, with two safeguarding officers Trevor and Judith Turner.
