Idle Bowling Club
ABOUT US
Idle Bowling Club was founded in 1913, centenary in 2013.
The Bowling club play in the following : The Airedale & Wharfedale Saturday, Tuesday Vets, Tuesday & Wednesday evening pairs leagues. Bradford League on a Monday Evening and Thursday p.m.
The Green is open for social bowling, useful for beginners,on Monday mornings, , Thursday mornings and Friday Afternoons
The club play nine in-house merit competitions throughout the year where every member is given a handicap. Pairs competitions are seeded.
At the end of the season a presentation evening is held in Idle Working Mens Club to present trophies.
The club have a Safeguarding Policy that covers children and vulnerable adults, with two safeguarding officers Trevor and Judith Turner.
